A fabulous down-home style Louisiana Shrimp Boil Fundraiser will rock our front lawn on Saturday, July 29.Presented by Friends of Elmhurst with hosts Sarah and Mike Barickman, our authentic Shrimp Boil evening will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with drinks followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

We’ll kick up the night with music by Bill Gorby and the Musical Mercenaries on our tented lawn.

“It’s time to enjoy the summer on the front lawn of the beautiful Elmhurst campus to benefit Wheeling’s finest, 127-year old senior assisted living residence. Guests will enjoy a traditional shrimp boil meal prepared by Elmhurst’s Chef Travis and his staff,  cool beverages, and a few surprises,” commented Sarah Barickman who added that an auction of fun items will highlight the night.

Tickets are $50 per person and include two free drink tickets. A cash bar will be available. Reservations may be made by calling Elmhurst at 304.242.0240, Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 4;30 p.m. Deadline is July 14.
